Logan Plant Founder & Brewer Beavertown Brewery.
Beavertown was set up in December 2011 by Logan Plant in the kitchen of Duke's Brew and Que, in De Beauvoir, Hackney, London. The brew house, situated opposite the two Smokers of the BBQ restaurant, runs at 4BBL per brew (650 litres - 1150 pints).
In March of 2013 we moved out of our home at Duke's Brew & Que and into our new brew site at Unit 4 Stour Road, Fish Island, London E3 2NT. Now with a little bit more space we can push the boundaries of brewing and get more beer out to the thirsty masses.
In May 2014 we moved to our new 11,000sqft space in Tottenham Hale. We upgraded to a 30BBL (50HL) brew house. We also sat our 'heartbeat' 4BBL kit next to Big Beaver to constantly push our Alpha's, experiments and minds!
The Beavertown Way
Our mission is to produce fine beers driven by our passion for innovation and quality that stimulate the drinker and create an experience from the first sip. We like to keep things simple; big flavours and character are abundant and balanced in each beer we produce. We want our drinkers to enjoy every aspect of the Beavertown experience and that is why our unique artwork forms and integral part of our philosophy.
Our core beer range exemplifies our commitment to consistency in excellence. Our seasonal and Alpha Series show our creative and innovative side, which incorporate both traditional and non-traditional ingredients to further express the Beavertown ethos.
From humble beginnings we are now moving to a state of the art brewing facility to meet the growing demand for our beers. In our pursuit to push the boundaries of our trade not only are we constantly experimenting with the finest ingredients, we are introducing our beer into cans.
